Make the most of the second half of life and embody your full potential as an elder with conscious eldering expert Ron Pevny.

There is a profound need for conscious elders at this point in history—for those who are not just getting older, but anticipate their later years as a deepening stage of growth, purpose, and service.

Conscious eldering is a decision. We can accept a view of aging that focuses on losing youth and becoming less productive, or we can look to cultures throughout history that valued the wisdom and experience of people who had lived long, full lives.

Guided by Ron Pevny, the director of the Center for Conscious Eldering, learn how to do the inner work vital to the spiritual growth and development of an engaged, conscious elder.

During these times of cultural transformation, Ron guides you to identify and release old patterns that no longer serve you, opening you to new possibilities for your life. In conversation, ceremony, and reflective time outdoors, you:

  • Review your life
  • Explore your legacies
  • Clarify your intentions
  • Explore the five foundations of conscious aging: belief, release, purpose, community, and spiritual deepening

Anyone over 50 is welcome, including retirees, career shifters, and those in mid-career.

Faculty recommends you read the following books and articles in preparation for the course:

Faculty asks that you bring the following items with you to the course:

  • Notebook or journal and pen or pencil
  • Appropriate clothing for being outdoors
  • Poems or readings that you find inspirational, especially concerning the opportunities and challenges of aging
  • A small object that is sacred to you to place on the group altar we will create
