Many of us yearn for the kinds of relationships that can help us to build resilience and remind us that we are not alone. But why do they sometimes feel so rare and hard to find?
When we experience disconnection from other women, it is usually because we have chosen stories that perpetuate this. The Power of Sisterhood demonstrates that our stories as women can either separate or bring us together, and encourages us to move toward sisterhood without sacrificing our truth in the process.
We have the potential to transform patterns of disempowerment—which have been exacerbated by sexism and a zero-sum-game mentality around “success”—into true connection in our personal and professional lives.
In the last year, many of us have recognized the power and importance of sisterhood―the kind of sisterhood that allows us to break the bonds of isolation and loneliness, and to share joy, sorrow, and raw truth with each other. When women share their stories, wisdom, and deep empathy with one another, we transform the world.
Join founder of Women for One and best-selling author Kelly McNelis, along with Women for One creative director and theater artist Nirmala Nataraj, to share your story in a setting that fosters deep intimacy and opportunities for truth telling.
This workshop incorporates journaling, role playing, and experiential exercises, as well as trust-building activities with partners, small groups, and the larger group.
